The Covent Garden Hotel's Sake Martini – Recipe

For something a little unexpected, enjoy this sophisticated cocktail. It is delicate, fragrant and easy to sip, and complements small pieces of parmesan.

Sake Martini

Yields one serving

30ml gin – a quality London dry gin is ideal

15ml Lillet Blanc – an aromatic French aperitif wine

15ml sake – a light, medium-bodied one, ideally

Combine the gin, Lillet Blanc, and sake in a cocktail shaker, include a generous scoop of ice and mix for half a minute until cold. Filter into a pre-chilled martini glass and present.
