The children's author David Walliams dropped by publishing house.
Acclaimed writer for children and TV personality David Walliams is no longer with his UK book publisher, the company has said.
A spokesman for the firm stated: "Upon deliberation, and following the appointment of its new CEO, HarperCollins UK will not be releasing any new titles by David Walliams."
It has been reported that the decision was taken subsequent to an review of claims about inappropriate behaviour towards female individuals.
The firm declined to specify the motivations for this action, adding: "It is not our policy to discuss internal matters."
A Prolific Writing Journey
Walliams stands as a most best-selling authors for kids, having sold in excess of 60 million copies globally in five dozen languages.
His inaugural foray into kids' literature, *The Boy in the Dress*, was published by HarperCollins back in 2008.
A number of his titles, for example *Gangsta Granny* and *Billionaire Boy*, have subsequently been turned into small-screen adaptations.
He has published in excess of 40 works combined, including a festive story named *Santa & Son*, which was published by HarperCollins in October.
Television and Literature
His initial claim to fame came on the broadcast sketch program *Little Britain* and has also won National Television Awards for his duties as an arbiter on *Britain's Got Talent*.
He was awarded an OBE in 2017 in recognition of his work for charity and the arts.
This move occurs subsequent to the appointment of Kate Elton as HarperCollins UK's new chief executive this past October.
