A plane ferrying Pete Hegseth was required to make an unplanned landing in the Britain on Wednesday following a fracture was found in the jet's front window, according to an official statement which confirmed that the secretary was unharmed.

"The jet landed in accordance with standard protocol and everyone onboard, among them Secretary Hegseth, is unharmed," a press officer commented in a public statement.

This incident isn't the initial instance that a United States armed forces jet ferrying a senior official has encountered mechanical issues.

Months ago, a United States Air Force aircraft ferrying Marco Rubio to the German city of Munich was forced to return to Washington DC after experiencing a technical issue.
